In a few sentences, tell us about yourself: I have been with The Cheesecake Factory for 24 years and I love it. The restaurant business is never boring, so I do what I love and love what I do.
Please tell us about your Saint Michael’s experience: Super fun — small environment and classes were awesome. All of my classmates and I are still in touch, and the love and kindness has never stopped.
What advice would you give to women students: Always keep your options open — I was a French major (Spanish minor) and I am working in internal audit for a restaurant company. You can do anything you set your mind to do.
What are some strategies that can help women achieve a more prominent role in their organizations: I think that things have gotten much, much better for women in the two decades that I have been in the professional world, but the conversation is still going and is changing with the times.
What keeps you motivated and driven on a daily basis: I love what I do and I love the people with whom I work.
What woman most inspires you and why: Mother Teresa for her never ending focus on supporting the poor, and Dr. Jane Goodall for her conservation efforts and showing that a young woman could study a wild animal and educate the world.
